About HNBA
Membership in the HNBA is open to all attorneys licensed by, and in good standing with, the State Bar of Texas. Meetings are held on the third Wednesday of each month and alternate between lunch and dinner meetings. In odd months (January, March, etc.), meetings are at The County Line, a restaurant located at 13850 Cutten Road, Houston, Texas 77069, 281/537-2454, 5:30pm-7:00pm. In even months (February, April, etc.), meetings are at Carrabba’s, a restaurant located at 5440 1960 West (@ Champion Forest Drive), Houston, Texas 77069, 281/397-8355, 11:30am-1:00pm. The meeting charges are $15.00 for members/$20.00 for guests. The first 30 minutes of each meeting is a social/networking period. The remainder of the meeting is a continuing legal education period featuring a speaker, which entitles the member to one hour of continuing legal education credit by the State Bar of Texas. Topics range from procedure and legislative changes to litigation and ethics. If you have questions about membership, please contact the President.
Membership also includes a free web page and listing in the Lawyer Referral Service. If you have your own website, your HNBA web page will link to that website. Your picture will also be posted on the web page free of charge. If you have questions about your web page, please contact the Webmaster.
